Who can apply as a founder?
Current Purdue students actively building a startup, with shipped work or measurable momentum and a concrete need for advice.
Who can join as a mentor?
Purdue alumni with credible startup-building experience who are willing to advise vetted founders pro bono.
Can founders contact mentors directly?
No. BoilerNet reviews and routes requests before a mentor sees them, protecting mentor time and keeping introductions relevant.
Are applications, notes, or meeting transcripts public?
No. Applications and relationship context are private. Transcript access requires participant consent and authorization.
Is BoilerNet part of Purdue University?
No. BoilerNet is a private product founded by Purdue students and is not an official Purdue University service.
